Title: All You Need Is Flights: How Kintsugi, Moai, and Volcano Pizza Helped Me Make More Solo Travel Magic

Author: Jen Ruiz

Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐ (4/5)

Release Date: June 30, 2026

I received a complimentary advanced copy of this book from the publisher via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

In her latest book, Jen Ruiz reconnects with herself after a breakup with a man she thought would be the one. She travels all over the world on her own to rediscover happiness, the joy of being alone, and why you don’t need Mr. Right (or Mr. Prince) to make amazing memories.

I genuinely enjoyed following along with Jen on this year-long adventure as she gets over a mediocre man and rediscovers her love for solo travel.

As a solo traveler myself, I related to a lot of Jen’s story. I loved exploring places I haven’t been yet through her eyes, although some of the chapters of places I have been (Japan, Egypt) were slower.

While our fellow solo travelers will love it, I think this book is even better for readers looking for inspiration or a push to go see the world, whether you have never done it before, are going through a breakup, or are just looking for a bit of joy in life.
