Content Creator Websites

Content Creator Websites

Getting started as a content creator is hard in any niche, and I wish I had a guide to help me get started years ago. Lucky for you, I’ve listed my favorite content creator websites.

These websites will help you:

  • learn how to build a brand with social media, blogs, and UGC
  • monetize your content
  • build a community with your email
  • find other content creators to work with
  • and more!

Below are some of the best websites for content creators. I compiled these in one place because they are some of the best resources and because I wish I had known about websites like this when I started as a travel content creator.

Some links on this page are affiliate links, meaning I may earn a commission if you click the link or make a purchase through the link. This is at no extra cost to you. This compensation may impact how and where links are placed on this site.

Travel Conferences

Travel conferences are one of the best ways to improve your content creation skills. You get to learn from the top travel creators, meet other creators, and have some fun along the way.

UGC Opportunities

Want to work with brands without having to post to your social media? UGC, or user-generated content, is growing in demand.

UGC content creators can make up to $10,000 per month by creating videos and photos for brands. And the content gets posted on the brand’s accounts, not yours.

One of the best ways to learn about UGC opportunities across all niches is with Brands Meet Creators.

Brands Meet Creators send out opportunities to work with brands on UGC content, and they have resources to help you grow your UGC business.

They also have an excellent content creator AI that helps you write UGC pitches for brands.

Wanderful Community

Want to be part of a community with other travelers and content creators? Join Wanderful!

Wanderful is a membership for women who love travel. Not only do you get to meet other travel lovers, but you can also join other creators for collaborations and help with your content creation journey.

One of my favorite resources from Wanderful is their on-demand creator library, which has tons of videos and event replays to help you build a business in travel.

They also host WITS, the Women in Travel Summit. This annual event brings together travel creators from all over the world to learn and build together.

Work with Tourism Boards

Shrpa is a website that connects travel creators and tourism boards.

You will create adventures on the website that act as your portfolio. The tourism boards can view your adventures when you apply for unique press trips.

While they are primarily in the Midwest, they are constantly expanding their reach. Sign up today to be alerted when communities near you seek creators.

In the next section, you can also learn how to pitch tourism boards in some of the online courses for content creators.

Courses

If you’re a content creator who focuses on blogging, you know just how hard it can be to be a blogger. From website setup to making your site look good to keeping up with SEO, there’s a lot to do and learn.

Thankfully, there’s the Travel Blog Prosperity membership. This membership has kept me sane as a blogger, with over 60 modules on anything and everything you can think of related to blogging.

From website setup to creating a community amongst your readers to making money off your blog, there are tons of awesome things to learn.

And, even if you are already set up and have some blog posts up, you can jump around to where you’re at in your blogging journey. This is what I did, as I’d had my blog for three years before I found and joined the membership.

PS: While the course is geared towards travel creators, bloggers in any niche can learn from it. Your first month is just $9, so check it out. New modules drop every month, along with live calls, money-making opportunities, and more. You can cancel at any time.

Build Your Community

One of the most important things you can do as a content creator is build an email list. Not only do you own your list (unlike your social media followers), but you can use a newsletter to build relationships with your community and sell your products.

My preferred email marketing platform is ConvertKit, which makes it easy to collect emails, send broadcasts to your list, and create automation to grow your relationships with new subscribers even faster.

It’s also easy to use ConvertKit to put sign-up boxes on your website. You can easily collect emails and send lead magnets to your audience.

Blogging Legally

One of the scariest parts of being a content creator? Ensuring everything you do is legal, especially with a blog.

Thankfully, there are legal bundles that give you legal page templates for your website, contracts to use for collaborations, and more.

You just need to change a few parts of each legal template to fit your brand, then you have a terms and conditions page, privacy policy, contracts, and more.

Instagram Resources

Ready to start an Instagram account to share your travels? First, you need to pick a travel Instagram name.

Here are some ideas for travel-related Instagram captions.

Free Content Writing Tools

Surfer created one of the best free content writing tools for SEO.

They have a free AI article outline generator that can help you get started with your next article based on any keyword you have in mind.

You can also use AI tools to help you write and come up with ideas, no matter your niche.

Here are some of the best AI tools:

Remember that AI is not perfect, and your audience wants to hear from YOU, not a robot. Make sure you edit any AI content you use, and put your spin on everything.

Make the Most of These Content Creator Websites
