I received a complimentary advanced copy of this book from the publisher via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.
This book was a hard read for me, and I really had to push myself to finish it. It’s Love & Gelato meets a cheesy, predictable Hallmark movie.
Mark is creepy and won’t respect that Lexi does NOT want to be called Lexington. His internal thoughts about her are unsettling, not romantic.
If you want a slow enemies-to-lovers book where both characters are annoying, unrelatable, and don’t actually seem to have anything in common, you may enjoy it. But I would advise against it.
