I love traveling, and the more often, the better. One of the ways I can travel so much is by being flexible and booking flights when they are cheap, or using points and miles to book my travels. And one of the top services I use to find cheap flights is Daily Drop Pro (formerly FareDrop).
Daily Drop Pro is one of the travel tools I use to find flight deals and search for award flights using points and miles. What started as FareDrop has grown into a larger platform with flight deal alerts, points searches, hotel award searches, and travel tools designed to help you spend less on trips.
If you’re wondering whether Daily Drop Pro is worth paying for, this review covers how it works, what features you get, pricing, and who I think will get the most value from it.

What is Daily Drop Pro?
Daily Drop Pro is a travel membership platform that helps you find flight deals and get more value from your points and miles. It combines flight deal alerts, award flight and hotel search tools, travel planning features, and a community where members can share tips and ask questions.
The platform started as FareDrop, a cheap flight alert service created by Kara and Nate, but it has expanded quite a bit since then. While deal alerts are still a major part of Daily Drop Pro, you can now also search for award flights and hotels across many loyalty programs and points currencies.
One thing I like is that Daily Drop Pro is useful whether you book cheap cash flights or travel with points and miles. You can set your home airports and receive flight deals, search for award bookings, track points in your wallet, and access the Pro Lounge community.
The next section covers all of the Daily Drop Pro features and how they work.

Daily Drop Pro Features
Here are the main features you get with Daily Drop Pro. While it started as FareDrop, a flight deal alert service, Daily Drop Pro now includes points and hotel search tools, travel planning features, and a community for travelers.
Flight Deal Alerts
Flight deal alerts are still one of the main features of Daily Drop Pro and one of the reasons many people originally joined when it was still FareDrop.
Daily Drop Pro has a team that searches for domestic and international flight deals every day and looks for prices that are lower than normal. They cover both economy and business class flights and send alerts when they find deals worth sharing.
As a Pro member, you can choose up to 10 home airports and customize your preferences so the deals you receive are more relevant to your travel style. If you live near a major airport or are willing to drive to a nearby city, adding multiple airports can help you find more opportunities.
When a deal matches your settings, you can receive alerts through email, the Daily Drop Pro app, or both. You can also log into your account and browse current deals directly, which is useful if you’re flexible and want ideas for your next trip.
Another feature I like is the route search tool. You can search specific routes and get an idea of what pricing looks like throughout the year.

One thing to know is that Daily Drop Pro does not track a specific flight with exact dates like Google Flights. Instead, it focuses on finding unusually good deals. The more flexible you are with where and when you travel, the more value you’ll likely get from the alerts.
That keeps almost all your original substance while updating the product and making it read cleaner. Next we can do Flight Points Search the same way.
Flights Points Search
One of the biggest additions to Daily Drop Pro since the FareDrop days is the Flight Points Search tool. If you use points and miles, this feature can save a lot of time.
Instead of checking airline websites one by one, you can search award flights across many airlines and loyalty programs in one place. Daily Drop Pro searches programs like United, American, Delta, Air France/KLM Flying Blue, British Airways, Virgin Atlantic, and many others.
To use the tool, enter your departure airport, destination, travel dates, cabin class, and number of passengers. Unlike the flight deal alerts, you are not limited to U.S. and Canadian departure airports, so you can search routes around the world.

After hitting search, be patient. Results can sometimes take a few minutes to load because Daily Drop Pro is searching across many different programs and partner options at once.
Once your results load, you can sort by:
- Cheapest miles
- Cheapest cash price
- Shortest duration
- Earliest departure
- Earliest arrival
You can also filter by:
- Award program
- Airline
- Flight times
- Number of stops
- Duration
- Aircraft type
- Price
One feature I like is that you can compare the points cost against the cash fare price. This makes it easier to decide if using points is actually giving you good value or if paying cash makes more sense.
Pro members get unlimited searches, which is especially helpful if you regularly use points or like comparing multiple routes before booking.
This tool is one of the biggest reasons Daily Drop Pro has become more than just a flight deal alert service. It can save you from opening dozens of airline tabs and searching each loyalty program separately.
Hotels Points Search
The Hotel Points Search tool works similarly to the Flight Points Search feature, but instead helps you find hotel stays you can book using points.
You can search hotels around the world by entering a destination, hotel name, travel dates, number of rooms, guests, and search radius. Daily Drop Pro then searches across major hotel loyalty programs to find available award stays.

The platform currently searches major hotel groups including Hyatt, Hilton, Marriott, IHG, Choice, Wyndham, Accor, and others.
To narrow your results, you can apply filters like:
- Hotel chains
- Transfer programs
- Free night certificates
- Use my awards (from your wallet)
You can also sort results by:
- Cash price
- Points price
- Points value
- Distance from city center
- Star rating
- Free night availability
One feature I like is that Daily Drop Pro shows both the cash cost and points cost side by side. This makes it much easier to compare whether paying cash or using points gives you the better value.
Just like the flight search tool, Pro members get unlimited searches. If you normally bounce between several hotel websites trying to compare award stays, this can save a lot of time.
This tool is especially helpful if you collect hotel points or transferable credit card points and want an easier way to compare options in one place.miles.
Pro Lounge
The Pro Lounge is the members-only community inside Daily Drop Pro where travelers can ask questions, share award bookings, exchange travel tips, and learn from other members.
If you’re newer to points and miles, it can also be helpful to see how other travelers are using their rewards and booking trips.
Points Wallet and Travel Tools
Daily Drop Pro also includes several tools beyond flight and hotel searches. One of the most useful is the Points Wallet, which lets you track your points and miles balances in one place.
If you collect rewards across multiple airlines, hotel programs, and credit cards, keeping everything organized can make trip planning easier.
Pro members also get access to 1:1 redemption support from Daily Drop travel experts. This can be helpful if you’re trying to book a more complicated trip or you’re still learning how points and miles work.
Daily Drop Pro also includes occasional member perks and bonuses.
Daily Drop Pro Plans and Pricing
Daily Drop Pro currently offers both a free plan and a paid Pro membership, which makes it easy to try the platform before deciding if you want to upgrade.
The free plan includes:
- Up to 5 points searches
- 1 home airport
- Up to 3 economy flight deals per week
- Daily Drop newsletter access
The Pro membership normally costs $149 per year, although Daily Drop often runs promotions and discounted first-year offers. You can read about Daily Drop Pro’s Black Friday sale in my complete guide.

With Pro, you get:
- Unlimited flight and hotel points searches
- Up to 10 home airports
- Economy and business class deal alerts
- Destination and travel preferences

I like that Daily Drop Pro offers a free option because you can test the platform and see how often deals appear from your airport before paying for a membership.
Is Daily Drop Pro Worth It?
I think Daily Drop Pro is worth it if you travel a few times a year, have some flexibility, or want an easier way to use points and miles.
The flight deal alerts alone can make the membership pay for itself if you book even one or two good deals each year. Daily Drop says most members save several times the cost of their subscription on their first trip, and even a single discounted international flight can make up for the yearly fee.
I also think Daily Drop Pro has become much more useful since it expanded beyond FareDrop. It is no longer just a flight deal alert service. The addition of flight award searches, hotel points searches, the Points Wallet, and redemption support gives travelers more ways to save money and use rewards.
That said, I do not think Daily Drop Pro is for everyone.
You will probably get the most value if you:
- Have flexible travel dates
- Are open to different destinations
- Travel multiple times per year
- Use points and miles or want to learn
- Live near a major airport or can use multiple airports
On the other hand, you may not get as much value if you:
- Only take one trip per year
- Need very specific travel dates
- Only search for one route or destination
- Rarely use points and miles
Daily Drop Pro focuses on finding great travel opportunities rather than tracking one exact flight. If you let deals help shape your travel plans instead of searching for one specific itinerary, you’ll likely get much more value from it.
