What Is Daily Drop?

Daily Drop is a free points and miles newsletter. It is sent every day, Monday to Friday, and keeps readers informed on the latest travel deals and educates them on how to use points and miles to travel for less. Daily Drop is my favorite newsletter, and I look forward to reading it every morning.

There is also a once-a-week version that goes out on weekends if five times per week is too much for you. You will get all the best deals and educational elements from the week in one newsletter. Just be aware that some travel deals in Daily Drop only last a day or two, so you may miss out on a few things by the time you get it each weekend.

Daily Drop also has a ton of educational resources on their website that teach you about booking travel with points and miles, as well as a ton of other cool travel tips.

Daily Drop Pro, formerly FareDrop, is a cheap flight alert service and search tool. There are three primary aspects to it:

  1. Cheap flight alerts from up to ten airports you choose (in the US or Canada) are sent to your email or phone app. Save up to 80% on flights with these alerts. You will get the most value from this if your travel dates and/or destinations are flexible.
  2. Points and miles search tools for flights and hotels. You can input where you want to go in the search tool, and it will pull results from all over the web for flights and hotels you can book using points and miles. You can filter the results to find the best bookings and even compare the miles price to the cash price.
  3. There is also a community section in Daily Drop Pro where you can connect with other members and get travel advice or help others.

DailyDrop Pro is a paid service, but it also has a Limited plan, which is detailed in the next section.

Daily Drop and Daily Drop Pro Pricing

One of the biggest differences between Daily Drop and Daily Drop Pro is the pricing.

Daily Drop is free to sign up for and will always be free. You can get the newsletter at no cost and unsubscribe (or resubscribe) at any time. You just need to input your email to sign up.

Daily Drop Pro is a paid subscription service that costs $149 annually. You get access to everything at the annual price, and you can make up for it if you book just one cheap flight. Sign up for Daily Drop Pro!

There is also a Limited plan that is free to sign up for. It includes the Daily Drop newsletter and a limited number of points searches (unlimited within Daily Drop Pro). You will also get three cash deals per week sent to your email. They will be from a “home” airport you select.

Should I Get Daily Drop Or Daily Drop Pro?

When comparing Daily Drop vs. Daily Drop Pro, I highly recommend both! At the very least, you should sign up for Daily Drop, as the newsletter is free, and I’ve learned so much since becoming a subscriber.

I recommend Daily Drop Pro if you plan on booking any travel with points and miles in the next year OR if you are flexible in your travel during the next year and want to book cheap flights. The flight team does all the hard work for you, and you just need to watch your email or app notifications for a great deal. If you have some destination in mind, you can use the search tool within Daily Drop Pro to find the best time to travel to that place.
